Anza souk is a fabulous mix of new & used treasures alongside delicious fresh produce
From the top there is a great vantage point of the maze of brollys that takes shape every week.
Anza souk can be explored very comfortably in around an hour
however it’s very easy to let lost in the many mountains of clothes or exploring all the weird & wonderful used items on display
When is it
Every Wednesday from around 8am until the afternoon (Peak times to visit would be 10am – 2pm)

What to expect
Lots of stalls selling produce (fruit, veg, meat, fish, nuts, spices & more) including livestock
Many large new & used clothes stalls with items that have found their way to Morocco from all over the world
You can also find secondhand appliances, furnishings, utensils & more
Refreshments
There will be small vendors selling snacks (sugarcane juice, popcorn, traditional sweets etc)
Also there is usually a cosy spot where you can have fresh omelettes made
How to get there
From Tamraght by car takes around 10 minutes
Parking is right beside the souk (You will be guided & expect to pay a little for this)
Share taxi’s are usually available from Tamraght this will be 8 MAD (Private Taxi’s would charge more)
From Tamraght by bus takes around 20 minutes. This should cost around 5 MAD
