The international hub of the surf ecosystem
In just four editions, the Taghazout Surf Expo has established itself as the largest professional surfing trade fair in Africa and the second largest in the world. Every year, it brings together more than 80 exhibitors and 40,000 visitors in Taghazout, at the heart of a 4,000 m² pop-up village set up just a few metres from the ocean. It features equipment manufacturers, surfwear brands, shapers, surf schools, surf camps, travel agencies, associations and committed project leaders.
The fifth edition, scheduled for 22–25 October 2026, promises to be even more ambitious. On the programme: an expanded exhibition area, talks and workshops dedicated to the surfing ecosystem. Not to mention inspiring talks, training sessions, and the unique atmosphere of the Taghazout Surf Expo, punctuated by free open-air concerts and DJ sets.
🕙 The Expo Village is open daily from 10am to 8:30pm. Free entry and open to all.
What’s on
🏄 Trade show: 80+ exhibitors, including surf schools, surf camps, travel agencies, surfwear brands, board makers, equipment suppliers and surf clubs from across Morocco.
🛹 Live Shaping Experience: watch master shapers Thierry Delbourg and Tarik Zrilida build boards live at the Shaping Space on 23–24 October.
🎤 TSE Talks and Share My Experience: free talks on surf parks, fresh water and the coast, and local tech, plus stories from London Almida, Mark Flintoff and Uriah McDonald.
🤝 Professional programme: round tables, workshops, FRMS master classes, a speed meeting and a networking night (some sessions are for professionals only and need registration).
🧘 Wake Up & Move: free daily morning yoga, Pilates and strength sessions from 10 to 11am in the Chill Area. Bring a mat or towel.
🫂 Community Space, run by Tamraght Life: free games, art, kids’ and adults’ activities, Amazigh painting, language sessions and martial arts. Open all day.
🌊 Beach clean-ups: twice a day at Anchor Point Beach, meeting at the Community Space. Gloves and bags are provided.
🎶 Sunset DJ sets and live concerts: every day from 4:30pm on two stages facing Anchor Point. Free entry.
🍽️ Food court and marketplace: local and international food, drinks, and local crafts.
Getting there
🚌 Free ALSA shuttles run daily between Anza Corniche and Anchor Point from 9:30am to 9:30pm.
🚶 On foot, it’s about 20 minutes along the ocean from Taghazout village.
🚗 By car, visitor parking is at the Anchor Point entrance.
👨👩👧 Children are welcome. No pets are allowed, except service animals. You can bring your own surfboard.
