CREATING AN EVENT IMAGE
If you don’t have an image already sized at 1920 x 1080 pixels – easily edit or create one in Canva
HOW TO EDIT AN EXISTING Image:
- Open Canva and click Create a design > Custom size.
- Enter dimensions: 1920 x 1080 pixels.
- Click Uploads to upload your image.
- Drag your image onto the canvas, resize it to fit perfectly & adjust positioning as needed.
- When ready, click Download and select PNG for best clarity.
Creating a New Event Image:
- Open Canva and click Create a design > Custom size.
- Enter dimensions: 1920 x 1080 pixels.
- In the Templates tab, search keywords related to your event.
Example: For a party try “retro party,” “80s party” or “throwback dance” - Choose a template that suits your event theme or keep browsing until you find the perfect fit.
- Add your event title or a catchy tagline in clear, bold typography.
Example: “Throwback Dance” or “Let’s dance like it’s 1989!” - Customize your design with fun elements—like disco balls, cassette tapes, neon colors, or retro graphics.
- Adjust colours and layout for vibrancy, readability & maximum visual appeal.
- Click Download and select PNG for best quality.

Images will be refused if they do not comply with the guidelines provided. Events can still be listed without an image.
