Its almost Eid, time to celebrate the end of Ramadan!
Curious to learn more about how and why this day is celebrated? You’re invited to dress up in your best dress or clothing and join us for the evening. We’re hosting a traditional Eid evening the Moroccan way in a local home in Aourir, where you can experience the atmosphere and traditions up close and in a very local setting.
We gather around the table with a festive Moroccan dinner: tajine, fries & cola (a true celebration classic), homemade sweets and plenty of mint tea (atay). There will be Moroccan music so we learn about Moroccan dancing, everyone dressed for the occasion, and stories about how Eid is celebrated in Moroccan households.
